The best way to end your high school graduation as you part with your classmates is not a sob—but a coordinated flash mob. Portsmouth High School had that statement clear during its recent graduation rites where they all danced to the tune of Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off.
Of course, leading the way is the valedictorian, Colin Yost, getting much help from his classmates, batch mates, and school officials for the rehearsals and during the flash mob itself. In his Valedictorian speech, Yost told his fellow graduating seniors to not worry of their new journey to college, and that all they got to do—as you now would have guessed it—is to “shake it off” if they feel anxious about it. He then started to lead the other graduating seniors into performing the flash mob. The reaction of their families and friends was awesome.
This probably reminds you of your high school graduation day, too. Was it this fun?
